It’s a winner in my opinion!

I’m so glad that you enjoyed this book so much! I know that feeling of a new, unexpected treasured reading discovery! I’ll have to see if my library has it!
We all search the shortlists for Booker, Prix Goncourt or the Australian Stella Prize….but who ever takes the time to look at the ‘off the beaten path’ awards?
Edward Stanton Travel Writing Awards and The Wainwright or always on the top of my list. I have read so many good book from these lists. Next book: Revolutionary Ride (L. Pryce) and The Rule of the Land, Walking Ireland’s Borders … both also shortlisted. Thanks for your comments!
