Conclusion:
Giving Trump presidential powers is so alarming
…according to M. Schmidt…that advisors and staff were
trying to STOP the president causing permanent damage to US
democracy.
Trump in the White House
…it is the political equivalent of
…lending your fragile vintage convertible
to the red-eyed, rager-throwing seventeen-year-old down the block.

Last Thoughts:
Excellent….I stayed up until 0200 am to finish the book last night.
I could not put this ‘political thriller’ down!!

Hmmm … what to say to this except “oh dear”. Doesn’t sound like he has told us anything we don’t know, except perhaps what some of his own advisers are saying and feeling? Is that the point here?
With all the books now available about Trump…as you said not much more news to tell.
This book rises about the Trump-book tsunami because the way it was written.
M. Schmidt is a Pulitzer Prize winning reporter…..and it shows!
