Sorry to hear that you are in the middle of all that heat.
Stay cool! We are getting ready for a forecast of 8 days at 90 degrees +. it’s 10 am and 85 degrees and climbing.
I got out early to walk to the grocery store at 0830 it was 75 F. Now it is 99 F.
Sitting if front room with the fan aimed directly on me.
Last night was the first time I had the air-co on all night. We are getting a cooling off period tomorrow but poor Spain, southern France and Italy are not so lucky. With this heat a vacation in Europe is NOT fun!
Take care, we have got through our bit of it in the UK just about though hoping for the storm to break it now!
Tomorrow…thunder storms and the long desired cooler weather!
Not used to seeing those kind of temps in your area of the world! Although we haven’t had a summer like that for 2 years either. Hope the cool change is coming in as I type. Wish I could send you some of our rain!!
Thanks for your comment! You have your share of weather disasters (floods, bushfires)…we have either heat waves or massive wind stroms blowing in from the Atlantic.
Today is at least 10 degrees cooler and thunderstorms are coming…can’t come soon enough. I slapped on the Apple ear buds….and listened to an audio book yesterday. I just wanted to lie down and close my eyes so no time wasted. Read new novel/thriller published yesterday by Dan Silva (short review on GR).
Glad to hear things have cooled down a little. Heat like that can be exhausting.
Ugh! My condolences. We’ve had such a cool and wet spring and early summer but next week a heat dome is expected with temperatures up to 34ºC. Better than the 43ºC we had last year. Normally it would be around 24º-28ºC so while it’s unusual, it’s not completely crazy. Try sleeping with a couple of ice packs in your bed!
Thank for your comment! Temps have cooled considerably here so fingers crossed no heat waves in August!
