I’m a bit worried about NonFicNov as I haven’t seen any posts about it yet and Rennie/Whatsnonfiction’s blog seems to have disappeared. I’m all geared up for it too and have a good set of pairings recorded for whichever week that is! These are some very interesting looking books.

Now that you mention it…no blogposts about #NonFicNov23 by the ‘usual suspects’ who hosted the event in the past. No problem. I’ll just make my yearly NF blogposts. Also spread the new via #NonFicNov23. Rennie’s blog ended last year in the beginning of December. Too bad…she always had a lot to say about her NF reads.

Did she say why she stopped? I don’t remember her writing a final post or anything as far as I recall. What a shame, as I loved her blog. Good idea – I’ll still use the hashtag, and I’ll share my pairings post as it’s all ready to go!

I just checked Doing Dewey’s blog (non-fic Nov started there the same year AusReading Month began) and sadly, her last past was about a month ago, also winding up her blogging life, but asking anyone interested in contuninung on with Non-FicNov to contact her.

We all feel a slump during the blogging years. It is par for the course. I stopped for 3 months this year (June-July-August) and it was the best thing to do! Now i am back blogging and enjoying it more. Listen to your mind…when a break is needed take it and come back stronger! As I said, I’m just going to post a NonFicNov post/s…just to keep up the non-fiction enthusiasm. Thanks for looking for the “farewell blogpost”…I missed it completely.

So did I, and I have followed Katie’s blog for over a decade!

DD actually posted that yesterday, I’ve already been in touch about hosting but I’m not sure there will enough to do it. Thank you for answering on here!

          Bravo to you!!
I’ve asked Paula/Book Jotter if she would promote it on her weekly round up to see if anyone else expresses interest. Fingers crossed.

          She did!

Rennie mentioned in a reply to my comment of 2022 that I was thinkinhg of taking a “blog break” (…which I did June-July-Aug this year)…that she had thought about taking a break or stopping completely. She never followed up with a final post…again, she had some very interesting books on her blog.

Liz en Brona…just read Book Jotter’s blog a/b searching for a new host for #NonFicNov23 Let’s hope somebody has the time to do it…otherwise I hope to see your blogposts with you “year of non-fiction” list and perphaps bookpairings (NF-fiction). So sad to lose a challenge that many people enjoy. I felt the same way when Karen of Books and Chocolate stopped with Back to the the Classics this year. I want to make a list of my own “Back to the Classics” based on her previous templates….just to keep me focused on the classics. Brona, what is the SPIN NUMBER ??
