#Winter 2026 The Netherlands
- What is this?
- Think I’ll stay inside next to the radiator.
- First real winter since years…in The Netherlands.
- Even my grocery delivery was cancelled
- …so I had to trudge to store for basics:
- milk, bread and of course some cookies with my morning coffee.

Yes, a good old fashioned winter here in Kingston Ontario too. -19 c right now and snowing.
I was supposed to drive north to Ottawa today for a retirement party.
No dice in this weather. My mantra during snow season ……
If it’s Snowing I’m not Going.
I done enough white knuckle drives and I now old and stubborn enough to not do it again.

Love the mantra “…if it’s snowing I’m not going!” I cancelled hair appointment Tuesday…no use trudging on slippery sidewalks (2,5 km) with 2 new hips! My haircut can wait!
