Survived the first week after surgery….the worst is over now.
Every day I’m getting stronger and cooking ALL my own healthy meals.
Navigating the kitchen is slow going…..but I’m getting there!

myself and tie my shoelaces! Oh, the insults of age.
Well done Nancy. I have a friend having a hip replacement next week. I hope her recovery is as quick as yours. Keep getting better and better.
12 days after the operation and I am walking around the block for the first time outside! Recovery as improved substantially after the first week. Bring your friend a BIG box of chocolates when you visit post-operation…nothing is better than chocolate to soothe the soul and sore hip muscle!
