#Kitchen 11 April 2023
Update:
- It was a long…dreary Easter weekend.
- Sometimes you say: “I don’t feel like cooking dinner tonight…”
- I would say: “I WANT to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner but I can’t”.
- Living like this without a kitchen…doing dishes in a bucket
- …cooking potatoes in microwave that taste like rubber
- is depressing.
- But today we have made some progress.
- The new kitchen is sitting in my front room and I had to
- go upstairs all day while the tool man got to work.
- He promised I would have a kitchen by this Friday, maybe Thursday.
- Fingers crossed.
No room to sit anywhere!

Oh it is going to be Lovely! I am glad to see that the Cabinet Inspectors are on the Job. What are you cooking for your Inaugural Repas? Regards from Canada, Mary Lee
Inaugural repas will be French cream of mushroom soup with white wine and crème fraîche!
Oh Nanc, this is beautiful… so exciting! It will be so worth the wait! Lovely color too! Better start working on that grocery order for the weekend!
Still not ordering groceries this week….living from hand to mouth …raw veggies, toast and jam, cheese sandwiches, apples and of course choc Easter eggs and cookies. Diet, be damned this week!
Oh very exciting! A new kitchen! I like the color and looks like you will have lots of room for stuff. Very cute kitty in a cabinet!
Jinjer, this remodeling helped me empty all the cabinets…throw away junk I never use…and I ‘m determined to keep this new kitchen organized and efficient. No more clutter, no more 20 coffee cups, plates etc…that I never use! This is Spring cleaning 2033 in the kitchen.
Pardon me while I do a test reply to see if the Gravatar updated the link to my blog. Feel free to delete this.
I love it Nancy – great colour and crossing all fingers and toes that it is completed on Thursday for you!!
I didn’t know you could play the piano (that I spied in the background of your first pic). I’ve often wished I took my childhood practice more seriously…
I did not realize I had not commented here. I shared these posts with my husband because of the cats and he likes to see this kind of thing. I am sure it is all going to be worth the wait.
